Desks - Buying & Ordering

▼Do you offer on-site servicing?

Our desks don't need regular servicing. In the unlikely event of your desk malfunctioning, we can arrange for one of our installers to visit on site to rectify the problem, at no cost to you, providing the malfunction occurs within the 5 year guarantee period. You can also purchase an Installation Service with your desk to have it delivered, installed and set up on-site with all packaging removed by our fully qualified installers.

◄What is the wait time for installation?

Installation is usually completed within 10-15 working days from the point your order has been dispatched to our installers, they will contact you directly to arrange a convenient date and time for them to attend your premises.

◄Can I bespoke my desk top?

Yes, we can supply almost all sizes or configurations on most of our desks. For a bespoke order, there will be a modest extra cost, and a lead time of 3-4 weeks for the manufacture of the desk top to your requirements. Please contact us with your requirements and we can provide a FREE no obligation quotation.

◄Can I re-use my current desk top?

Absolutely - we encourage re-use where possible. We supply quality standing desk frames to enable this. These are those used with our complete desks, and include all electrics and fixings. All you need do is to attach to your desk top.

◄Do you have a showroom?

We are an online business, so we don't have a showroom. However, for bulk orders we are able to arrange for a demonstration at your premises. Please contact us for more details. Click to order Free samples of desk top finishes.

◄Do you charge VAT?

Yes, VAT is included in all of our quoted prices. If you are buying for a registered business, you will be able to claim VAT back via your own processes. If you require a VAT Invoice, please contact us. Our VAT Registration No. is GB 403 3024 60.

◄Do you offer discounts?

We offer discounts on orders of 5 or more desks. Please contact us for a quotation.

◄Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, we provide Klarna as one of our payment methods. This enables you to pay by instalments over 3 months at no extra cost to you. Just select the Klarna option at checkout. Klarna will run a credit check, which is quick and doesn't leave a credit footprint (it runs a soft credit check only). It is a simple, no-interest method of spreading your payment.

◄When will my order arrive?

Providing you order on a working day before 2.00 p.m, delivery will be next working day.  If, for any reason, you won’t be at home to accept the order, please add a note in checkout to advise what date you would like your order to arrive.

Can I specify a delivery time?

We use TNT to deliver your order. Delivery is between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. It is possible to arrange a morning delivery for an additional cost of £25.00 plus VAT, a pre-10.00 a.m. delivery for an additional £35.00 plus VAT or a Saturday delivery for £35.00 plus VAT.

Why haven't I received all of my items?

Our height-adjustable desks are always shipped in multiple packages, with the desk top and frame packaged separately to limit the possibility of damage. Due to the length of the desk top boxes, typically ranging from 100cm to 200cm, courier networks classify them as non-conveyable items. As a result, there are instances where these parcels may be routed separately by the delivering depot. However, in almost all cases, the missing parcel will be delivered by the same driver on the following day. If you have any concerns regarding the status of your delivery, please contact us so that we can assist and resolve any concerns you may have.

Desks - Assembly

◄Can I assemble my desk at home?

Yes, all of our desks can be easily be assembled at home.

What tools will I need?

Standard Desktops - our desks are delivered complete with allen keys for use on all frame and desktop bolts. You will need an electric screwdriver with a No. 2 Posidrive bit to fit the hand control switch and claim control cables that plus into the control box.

Solid Wood & Custom Sized Desktops - as these don't come pre-drilled, you will need an electric screwdriver with a No. 2 Posidrive to fit the desktop to the frame.

Are assembly instructions provided? - yes, all of our desks are provided with assembly instructions. We also provide assembly videos which can be found here

◄Can I build my desk on my own?

Yes. However, for safety purposes, as our standing desks have a minimum weight of 50kg due to the high-grade steel and heavy duty motors used, we would highly recommend that another person is present to assist you with any lifting and moving of the desk, once the build has been completed.

◄Will it take long to build my desk?

Allow around 30-60 minutes to complete the building of your desk and attaching accessories. We provide full instructions and have comprehensive assembly videos which can be located here.

◄Why won't my desk raise up?

If your desk won't move up and down it will be because the safety cut-out has been activated and requires resetting.

How do I reset it?

To restore functionality to the desk, make sure there are no obstructions beneath it that could hinder it from reaching the lowest position. Press the "down" button until the desk reaches the lowest point. Then, press the "down" button again and hold it for a minimum of 10 seconds until you hear a distinct clicking sound. This indicates that the reset process is finished, and the desk should operate correctly.
