Natural Dijon Walnut
Our standard desk tops are available in a stunning Natural Dijon Walnut finish on 25mm MFC desk tops.
These tops look great, are hard wearing and suit most use cases. MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) is composite wood material, commonly used around the home and office.
Real Wood Walnut Veneer
Alternatively, if you are looking for a real walnut wood finish, we offer a stunning real walnut veneer finish desk. From a distance, it can be difficult to tell the difference between a real wood veneer desk and a solid walnut wood one. The look and the feel are very similar.
This is because a veneer is a thin slice of real wood (in this case Walnut) applied to a 25mm MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) core. Real wood edging is used to complete the natural finish. The result is a great looking and natural feeling desk top that is more affordable than solid walnut and isn't prone to the ageing effects of a solid top.
Veneers also maximise the use that can be made of the wood raw material - therefore reducing environmental impact
