Desks - Buying & Ordering

▼Do you offer on-site servicing?: Our desks don't need regular servicing. In the unlikely event of your desk malfunctioning, we can arrange for one of our installers to visit on site to rectify the problem, at no cost to you, providing the malfunction occurs within the 5 year guarantee period. You can also purchase an Installation Service with your desk to have it delivered, installed and set up on-site with all packaging removed by our fully qualified installers.
◄What is the wait time for installation?: Installation is usually completed within 10-15 working days from the point your order has been dispatched to our installers, they will contact you directly to arrange a convenient date and time for them to attend your premises.
◄Can I bespoke my desk top?: Yes, we can supply almost all sizes or configurations on most of our desks. For a bespoke order, there will be a modest extra cost, and a lead time of 3-4 weeks for the manufacture of the desk top to your requirements. Please contact us with your requirements and we can provide a FREE no obligation quotation.
◄Can I re-use my current desk top?: Absolutely - we encourage re-use where possible. We supply quality standing desk frames to enable this. These are those used with our complete desks, and include all electrics and fixings. All you need do is to attach to your desk top.
◄Do you have a showroom?: We are an online business, so we don't have a showroom. However, for bulk orders we are able to arrange for a demonstration at your premises. Please contact us for more details. Click to order Free samples of desk top finishes.
◄Do you charge VAT?: Yes, VAT is included in all of our quoted prices. If you are buying for a registered business, you will be able to claim VAT back via your own processes. If you require a VAT Invoice, please contact us. Our VAT Registration No. is GB 403 3024 60.
◄Do you offer discounts?: We offer discounts on orders of 5 or more desks. Please contact us for a quotation.
◄Can I pay in instalments?: Yes, we provide Klarna as one of our payment methods. This enables you to pay by instalments over 3 months at no extra cost to you. Just select the Klarna option at checkout. Klarna will run a credit check, which is quick and doesn't leave a credit footprint (it runs a soft credit check only). It is a simple, no-interest method of spreading your payment.
◄When will my order arrive?: Providing you order on a working day before 2.00 p.m, delivery will be next working day. If, for any reason, you won’t be at home to accept the order, please add a note in checkout to advise what date you would like your order to arrive.

Can I specify a delivery time?

We use TNT to deliver your order. Delivery is between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. It is possible to arrange a morning delivery for an additional cost of £25.00 plus VAT, a pre-10.00 a.m. delivery for an additional £35.00 plus VAT or a Saturday delivery for £35.00 plus VAT.

Why haven't I received all of my items?

Our height-adjustable desks are always shipped in multiple packages, with the desk top and frame packaged separately to limit the possibility of damage. Due to the length of the desk top boxes, typically ranging from 100cm to 200cm, courier networks classify them as non-conveyable items. As a result, there are instances where these parcels may be routed separately by the delivering depot. However, in almost all cases, the missing parcel will be delivered by the same driver on the following day. If you have any concerns regarding the status of your delivery, please contact us so that we can assist and resolve any concerns you may have.

Desks - Assembly

◄Can I assemble my desk at home?: Yes, all of our desks can be easily be assembled at home.

What tools will I need?

Standard Desktops - our desks are delivered complete with allen keys for use on all frame and desktop bolts. You will need an electric screwdriver with a No. 2 Posidrive bit to fit the hand control switch and claim control cables that plus into the control box.

Solid Wood & Custom Sized Desktops - as these don't come pre-drilled, you will need an electric screwdriver with a No. 2 Posidrive to fit the desktop to the frame.

Are assembly instructions provided? - yes, all of our desks are provided with assembly instructions. We also provide assembly videos which can be found here
◄Can I build my desk on my own?: Yes. However, for safety purposes, as our standing desks have a minimum weight of 50kg due to the high-grade steel and heavy duty motors used, we would highly recommend that another person is present to assist you with any lifting and moving of the desk, once the build has been completed.
◄Will it take long to build my desk?: Allow around 30-60 minutes to complete the building of your desk and attaching accessories. We provide full instructions and have comprehensive assembly videos which can be located here.
◄Why won't my desk raise up?: If your desk won't move up and down it will be because the safety cut-out has been activated and requires resetting.

How do I reset it?

To restore functionality to the desk, make sure there are no obstructions beneath it that could hinder it from reaching the lowest position. Press the "down" button until the desk reaches the lowest point. Then, press the "down" button again and hold it for a minimum of 10 seconds until you hear a distinct clicking sound. This indicates that the reset process is finished, and the desk should operate correctly.

I recently got a standing desk, and I must say, it's top-notch! The materials are really good quality, solid and sturdy. It feels like it's built to last. And the online service was fantastic. Good product let down by sloppy logistics

The desk took over a month to arrive and when it finally got delivered, SAVV-E only sent 1 guy who was nowhere near strong enough to lift a 2 metre size desk into my house by himself. The courier suggested I unpack the flatpacked desk while it was still on the van and take it inside piece by piece myself. SAVV-E clearly should have sent 2 men on the van so they could lift the desk into my house.

Also, there were no tools supplied with this desk. Most of the screws require an alan key so I had to source my own to connect the legs and frame together. Then came the part where I needed to fit the top of the desk to the frame/legs. Nobody had bothered to pre-drill any holes for the remain screws to go into. So again, I had to do the leg work myself. Not too big of an issue in the end but after paying a premium price, you'd expect these little things to be taken care of.

I am pleased with the overall build quality now that everything is together but the journey left a bit of a sour taste.

Large items such as this 2m desk have to be delivered via pallet, extensively wrapped/packaged and shipped using kerbside delivery to minimise the risk of damage in transit. Our delivery drivers use a pump truck to unload the item from the delivery vehicle and will endeavour to get the item as close as possible to your entrance. For Health & Safety reasons, they are not able to remove the items from the pallet, unwrap or take it inside your property - this is your responsibility on delivery day. We explain this in our delivery policy and send a separate email notifying the delivery date and restating the kerbside delivery details, including instructions that couriers are not insured to enter buildings. This allows our customers to make arrangements for assistance on the delivery day. We recommend that you remove the wrapping to reveal the individual boxes which are much easier for you to move insider your property. We can also provide a chargeable installation service.

The Allen keys required for assembly are included and can be found in the separate brown envelope that includes the wood screws for attaching the desk top. Please accept our apologies if this was omitted on this occasion.

Thank you for bringing up the issue regarding the desk top not being predrilled. We do this for our smaller desks and fit steel fixings. For our 2M model, we do not do this at present because some customers value the flexibility in the placement of the leg position under the larger desk top. We appreciate your feedback and will consider predrilling the 2M tops in the future.

The typical timeframe from ordering to delivery for our 2M desks is usually 2-3 weeks, primarily because of the customised manufacturing process for the desk top. However, in your case, with the Christmas and New Year holidays falling between order and delivery date, this timeframe had to be extended to 4 weeks. This extension is unusual, and we made sure to clearly communicate the estimated delivery dates at the point of order. The desk was delivered inside the extended timeframe.

great product and great service

when looking to purchase my desk the service I got from Anne was very good. Anne was patient with my questions, knowledgeable and very friendly.
The desk itself, I went with the 200cm desk with concrete effect top, relatively easy to put together but is very heavy, definitely a 2 person job to stand it up once you are finished putting it together. Once up though the desk is great, lots of space and looks amazing. The motors are quiet enough to not bother you when you are adjusting the height. I did have some worries about how steady it would be when extending to standing height, but the desk is as steady as a rock, no worries about tipping or rocking at all. The wide feet I think are to thank for this.
