Infrared Picture Heaters

 

As an alternative to wall-mounted infrared picture panel heaters, an infrared heating system can also be used in free-standing mode. Infrared heaters are also available in plain white, glass ormirror and can be mounted on purpose built  stands. Infrared is a naturally occurring form of heat - it is part of the electromagnetic spectrum of heat emitted by the sun. It is safe to use and feels more natural than other forms of heating. The heated pictures themselves are lightweight and can be plugged into a standard electric 3-pin plug socket or directly wired into your mains electric circuit. Infrared heating panels work in a different way from radiators or fan heaters. They heat objects directly, rather than the surrounding air (convection heating). This means that IR heat is targeted more directly and efficiently resulting in lower bills. Maintenance costs are also lower - no servicing, no expensive repairs - and you can take them with you if you move! They also look great and blend seamlessly into your home. A large picture panel makes a perfect centrepiece in your living room. At just 22mm thick, they look just like a picture on your wall - not like an obvious (and usually ugly!) piece of heating equipment.
